Buran Ghati Trek

The Buran Ghati trek is a 7 day long trek stretching for about a 27 km long trail. It’s only natural to look for imperfections in a trek or a place or the scenes of the place but during the Buran Ghati trek it’ll be difficult for the trekkers to do so because this is how beautiful the Buran Ghati Trek is. The trek is considered to be moderately difficult. The trail enjoys a panoramic view of the Pabbar Valley within which this trek is set. The Pabbar River flows along the trail and is said to originate from the Chandranahan Lake which you also get to come across during the trek.

This beautiful lake is one of the highlights of the Buran Ghati trek along with the ever offering meadows and snow clad Himalayan Mountains. The best window to take on this trek is during the months of May to June and another from September to October. The weather is favorable for trekking except for extreme winters when the temperatures drop to sub zeros. The summers are induced with a happy aroma of colorful flowers, lush green meadows; thick line of forests, pasture lands, the daily jumble in suburbs of mountain villages and so much more. During winters the Buran Pass becomes a dramatic wall of ice due to heavy snow fall in the region. Owing to its diversity the Buran Ghati offers complete adventure for all its trekkers. This trek can prove extremely calling to nature lovers, photographers and of course the mountain enthusiasts.
